Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Dandy AI. Plain language, no surprises. By creating an account you are agreeing to them.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Microsoft OAuth. Keep that account secure, since anyone who can sign into it can reach your Dandy AI workspace. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your organization.
What you put in
The schema metadata you create in Dandy AI is yours. You keep ownership of it, and we use it only to run the product for you. You are responsible for having the right to describe the data you describe, and for not putting anything into the product that you are not allowed to share.
Dandy AI is built to hold the shape of your data, not the data itself. We do not want your database passwords, source credentials, or row data, and the product does not ask for them. Please do not paste them into descriptions or free-text fields.
Subscriptions and billing
- Self-serve plans start with a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the plan's rate applies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly, at the rate shown on the pricing page for your plan and seat count.
- You can cancel anytime through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
- Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Card details never reach Dandy AI's systems.
- Enterprise plans run on a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over this section where the two differ.
Acceptable use
Do not use Dandy AI to break the law, to attack or overload the service, to work around seat limits or access controls, or to resell access to people outside your organization. We may suspend an account that is doing any of these.
Availability
We work to keep Dandy AI running and to give notice before planned maintenance, but the service is provided as is, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending things
You can close your account at any time. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we will tell you why. When an account closes, you can ask us to export or delete your data.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email when the change is material. Continuing to use the product after that means the new terms apply.
